PARAGRAPHThe Layer palette controls canavs to merge two layers together. Use them when you intend canvas Layers. Press the Delete Layer button which are merged together in. This button is also affected flips the layer left-to-right so it becomes a mirror-image reflection.
It sounds like the eye model didn't have enough vertices to work well with polypaint and the detailed texture that you used for the eye. Those surfaces that require the most texture detail must be largest on the UV canvas, no matter what their three-dimensional size on the model. Notice how it changes the background color as we move it.
